Obituary

Mrs. Priscilla Shearman Houghton. 35, former Tucsonan, died Mav 19 at the Seciuoia Hospital in Redwood City. Calif., following a brief illness. A native of Jamestown, N.Y.. Mrs. Houghton was graduated from Tucson High School and attended the University of Arizona. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William R. Shearman who founded the Shearman Furniture Co. (now the Shearman Sierk Furniture Co.) of Tucson. Mrs. Houghton was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at the university and of the Junior League of Tucson, Inc. She moved to California several years ago. She is survived by five children, William, Thomas and Carrie Starns, all of San Diego, and Samuel and Diana Houghton of Pasadena.
