Frank Wyant Herrick, 81, formerly of Parish, died Wednesday at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Oswego, after a long illness.
Mr. Herrick was a life resident of the Parish area. He formerly was employed with Parish Oil Co.
Mr. Herrick was a member of the National Rifle Association and the North American Hunting Club. He was a private flying instructor during World War II.
Surviving are three sons, Paul of Jupiter, Fla., Jeffrey of Mexico and Mark of Central Square; four daughters, Roma Moore of Pulaski, Marlene Hare of Pennelville, Marsha Herrick of Syracuse and Patricia Hollenbeck of West Monroe; and 17 grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Harter Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery.
