Jack Byrol Houghton, age 72, died Monday, February 5, 2007. Jack B. Houghton was born on May 28, 1934 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Byrol and Clara (Smith) Houghton. Jack married Neilda (Griggs) Houghton on November 1, 1952 and she preceded him on September 12, 1991. Jack B. Houghton is survived by 2 Sons: Jack and Lesli Houghton and Timothy Houghton both of Muskegon. 4 Daughters: Sherry and Colin Able of Oregon, Lilly and Ed Janowiak of Muskegon, Neila and Ronald Swanson of Sparta and Tina and Greg Smith of Oregon. 20 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren. 3 Brothers; Ivan and Alice Houghton, Butch Houghton both of Lakewood, MI and Douglas and Ellen Houghton of Muskegon. 1 Sister: Ina Sheldon of Oregon. Funeral Services for Jack B. Houghton will be conducted on Friday, February 9, 2007 at 1:00pm at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna with Reverend Wesley Devries officiating. The family will be present at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna on Friday, February 9, 2007 from 11:00am until the time of service to receive friends. A memorial has been established in Jack's name to the American Red Cross. The Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna is in charge of funeral arrangements. (231) 853-6511
