G. MILTON BALL, 86, of Glen Rock died Thursday. He was founder of the G.M. Ball Corporation, a laboratory equipment distributor in Glen Rock, and served as president until his retirement in 1975. A 1923 graduate of Polytechnic Institute in Brooklyn, he was a founder of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. An accomplished violinist, he was a charter member of the Ridgewood Symphony Orchestra. He was a member of the Glen Rock Community Church, the Glen Rock Seniors, the Ridgewood Hobbyists, and the Saddle River Power Squadron. Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Houghton Ball; two sons, George Jr. of the Pompton Plains section of Pequannock and John of Glen Rock; a sister, Lilian Hotchkiss of Larchmont, N.Y., and nine grandchildren. Services will be tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. at the C. C. Van Emburgh Chapel, Ridgewood, with burial in Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y. Friends may visit today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Donations to the Glen Rock Ambulance Corps would be appreciated.
