He was a Methodist.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Smith of High Springs and Linda Stewart of Cocoa; four sisters, Bea Lett and Norlene Gilbert, both of Melbourne, Bernie Davis of Washington, Mo., and Judy Marshall of Albuquerque, N.M; four grandchildren, Terri Smith, Brandy Smith, Ruth Ann Bernier and Jessica Grimes; and two great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Nobles and Jeremy Bernier.
