"LAURENS - Funeral services of Julian Crippen, who passed away Friday evening at the home of William B. Hall, where he had been spending the winter, were held from that home, Sunday afternoon, under the direction of the Rev. R. A. Tennies of the Laurens Presbyterian church. Edward Crippen, James Chase and Harold Follett of Oneonta and William B. Hall of Laurens were bearers. There were many flowers from relatives and friends. Among those from out of town who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Fisher of Binghamton, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Morrison of Schenevus, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Hanford of Unadilla, Mr. and Mrs. George B. Crippen and Mrs. M. Houghton of Worcester, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Goodman of South New Berlin and Mr. and Mrs. William Patrick and daughter of Oneonta.
