     The following selected information is extracted from his obituary. Survivor(s): Clara Laverna Berger, Edith Junop, Carrie Shelkie, Jack Berger, Albert Berger, Eddie Berger, Christ Berger and Frank Berger.2 Otto Paul Berger was buried on 26 April 1957 in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.2
     His name was recorded as John Otto Berger on his birth registration.4
     In 1908, Otto moved from Ontario to Delisle district, RM of Loganton, Saskatchewan, Canada. He remained there for the rest of his life.2 He, the informant on the death registration of August Frederick Wilhelm Berger who died on 20 March 1912 was an unrelated person.6
     Otto Berger and family attended the Rosenthal School Pals Reunion.
On Dominion Day (July 1) in 1931, August and Minnie Summach hosted a reunion of local families in which at least one of the parents had attended Rosenthal school in Renfrew County, Ontario. A photographer from Saskatoon took a panoramic photograph of about 14 families and other guests.7,8

     He was born on 17 March 1888 in Rosenthal, Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada.1,5,2,3 A delayed birth registration for John Berger was made on 6 November 1943 at Eganville in Renfrew County, certified by his brother, William Berger. Additional evidence was from the Family Record, and Marriage record. Note that the year 1878 does not agree with other sources.6
     He died on 15 December 1965 in a local hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, at age 77.2
     The following selected information is extracted from his obituary. Survivor(s): Mrs John Shilkie, Mrs F L Junop, Edward Berger and Christy Berger.2 John Berger was buried on 18 December 1965 in Delisle Cemetery, Delisle, RM of Vanscoy No. 345, Saskatchewan, Canada. The pallbearers were: Ray Summach, Ivan Smith, Wilfred Summach, George Gessell and Cecil Summach.7
     He also went by the name of Jack.4,5
     Jack Berger was included in a photographof a "Threshing Crew Long Time Ago" according to Grandpa Fred's notation. Those that he identified that are in this database were Jack Berger, Ernst Webber, Fernand (sic) Junop, Justin Cumming and William Frederick Krieger. Since William Krieger, Grandma Esther's brother, married in July 1917, this photo may have been taken the year before.8

Were they his children?, published on 10 July 1931 in the newspaper the Saskatoon StarPhoenix.10
