Allesandre Houghton died suddenly on Jan. 4, 2010. She was 87.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, Jan. 8, at 10:30 a.m. at the Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main St., Peapack, www.baileyfuneral.com. Interment will be private at Somerset Hills Memorial Park.

Born in Elizabeth, Mrs. Houghton lived in Far Hills for the past 50 years.

She was a secretary for the Bernards Township school system for 12 years before she retired.

Her husband, William, died in 2007. Survivors include her children, William R. of Morristown, Kenneth A., Rochester, N.Y., and Susan MacMichael of Pebble Beach, Calif.²
