Margaret Jean Houghton 50, passed away Sept. 29, 2004, at her home on Big Coppitt Key after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She died peacefully with a smile on her lips and a tear in her eye.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her daughter Nicole and son Daniel Stachowiak. She is survived by her guardian angel and most significant other, Jack Bute of Key West, her grandmother, Alice Stachowiak of Milwaukee, Wis., daughter, Jill Levenhagen of Sheboygan, Wis., and five grandchildren, Alyssa and Amber Levenhagen and Simone and Chloe Pershell of Fort Myers, Fla., and loving grandson, D'Artagnan Wallace of Bonita Springs, Fla. She also is survived by two sisters, Christine Praetzke of Milwaukee and Lillian Moberg of Escanaba Mich., and her brother, Joe Stachowiak of Key West, and many loving friends and colleagues from Hot Cuts of Key West.¹
