A native of Dayton, she had spent most of her life at Marlon She had resided in Dayton the past five years.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Herbert Bahl of Dayton: a son, E. P. Houghton of Pittsburgh. Pa; two sisters, Mrs. W. G. Covert and Mrs. Ralph Flaherty of Dayton; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Paul Dane Houghton, 82, of Adrian, Michigan went to be with his Lord on June 13, 2002 at his home. He was born on September 23, 1919 in Dayton Ohio. He served in the Army Air Force during World War Two with the 454 Bombardment Group as a B-24 tail gunner. He was shot down twice behind German Enemy lines. Paul attended George Washington University and then Ohio State University, where he received his business degree. He married Kathryn Raymond in 1948 at the First Presbyterian Church in Adrian. Michigan. During his life he was self-employed, starting a Ford dealership in Ohio and then five different motorcycles dealerships in Arizona. He also earned his real estate license in Arizona. Paul, Kathryn and son Jeff moved to Phoenix in 1959 and were residents for 34 years. They attended Scottsdale Baptist Church. Paul and Kay moved to Adrian, Michigan in 1990 to be near family. Paul is survived by his wife of 53 years, Kathryn, his son Jeffrey and his wife, Becky of Fountain Hills, and two grandsons, Scott and Chad Houghton. Graveside services in Adrian included full military rites.
