He was born March 1, 1898. fa Eureka a son of Eli and Sylvia Mandhart Houghton. He married Gieulieta Hillman on July 19, 1919, in Idaho Falls. He was a member of the IDS Church. Mr. Houghton was a retired railroad worker and mechanic. He was a vetean of World War I and World War II. He had served as a guard at a film studio in Culver City, Calif., for some time before coming to Idaho. Surviving are his widow of Idaho Falls. Burial was In the Ross Hill Cemetery in Ioaho.
