Taft, Calif. — Patricia Sue Pilkington was born in Fullerton on December 4, 1940 and passed away in Bakersfield on April 21, 2012. She was raised and educated in Taft and graduated from Taft Union High School. She had been employed by Texaco Oil Company as an office manager. Mrs. Pilkington is survived by her son, Thomas Pilkington; her brother, Glenn Houghton; her sister, Anna Watson all of Taft and by her two grandsons, Chad and Cody Pilkington. At her request there will be no visitation of funeral service and private burial will be in the West Side District Cemetery.

Patrick Houghton Patrick, age 50, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012. Patrick was born on July 18, 1961, in Lindsay, Ca. He was a 1979 McLane graduate and serviced in the United States Air Force. He worked for Fresno Unified as a Telecommunications Operator and retired after 25 years of service. Patrick was an avid Washington Redskins fan. Patrick is preceded in death by his father, Thomas F. Houghton. He is survived by his mother, Arleta Rebensdorf and her husband Bob; sister, Carrie Mayfield and her husband Doug; and nephew, Cole Mayfield. Privates services will be held. Remembrances may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Paul Raynaud Houghton, a fourth generation Californian, was born in Berkeley on January 1, 1938, and lived all his life in the Bay Area. He attended local schools and graduated from San Jose State College in 1960. He worked 24 years for Southern Pacific Railroad in charge of the Vegetation Control Program and later operated a computer repair business for 7 years until his retirement. He was also a member of the Northshore Community Church. He leaves his wife, Wanda Houghton of Richmond; daughter, Lisa Houghton of Richmond; son, Warren Houghton of Hercules; grandson, Brandon Houghton of Hercules; sister, Ann Oleson of Fremont; and brothers, Eugene Houghton of Sacramento, John Houghton of El Cerrito and Donald Houghton of Albany.
