She is survived by her husband Edwin C. Houghton of Anderson: am two nieces. Mrs. James England o Anderson and Mrs. Chuck Van Briggle of Logansport. Ind.

LOMPOC — Memorial services for Fern Whitby, 77 of Lompoc, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary Chapel with Miguelito Chapter 136 Order of the
Eastern Star officiating. Private inurnment will be at Lompoc. She was born March 26,1909 in Pleasant View, Utah. Lived in Lompoc for the last 13 years. She moved here from Los Angeles and was a member erf Miguelito Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, Alpha Club, Toastmistress Club and a past president of the Community Women’s Club. She died Tuesday at Lompoc District Hospital.
Survivors include a daughter, Lesley Zandonatti of Lompoc; son, Richard Houghton of Alameda; stepson, Robert Whitby of Hemet; a brother, Harry Cragon of Las Vegas, Nev; three grandchildren, Lisa and William Zandonatti HI both of Lompoc and Reed Houghton of Alameda; and a great granddaughter.
