Obituary

Carol Haughton passed away on Monday morning, December 24, 2012 at St Mary's of Michigan Hospital, Saginaw. Age 70 years. She was born on October 17, 1942 in Brady Township to the late Lester and Ellery (Simons) Walter. Carol married Max "Wayne" Haughton on March 11, 1961; he preceded her in death on August 5, 2004. Carol enjoyed being with her family especially her grandchildren. Surviving are her two sons, Doug (Corinne) Haughton of Oakley and Troy Haughton of Oakley; two grandchildren, Tiffany and Chris; one brother, David (Pam) Walter of Oakley. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Walker-Martin Funeral Home, Chesaning. Deacon Gary Edington will officiate with burial in Ridge Road Cemetery. Friends may call at the Walker-Martin Funeral Home, Chesaning on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Friday from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm. Memorials are suggested to the Make a Wish Foundation.
