Biography

Anna, de jure Baroness of Frigenuini grew up in a convent in Malta.
Later, she took up cleaning duties for Government houses. At the beginning of 1808, the French prince Louis-Charles d’Orleans (b. 1779), who was suffering from tuberculosis and had come to Malta from England for his health, took an interest in her and asked her to do housecleaning duties for him while he was in Malta. They became lovers but affair lasted but a short time, as the Prince became more ill and died in May, in Valletta. Anna was pregnant by him at the time.

LISA HOUGHTON Lisa Kay (nee Walter) Houghton, 54, of Las Vegas, passed away Oct. 9, 2016. She was born Feb. 12, 1962, in Lakeview, Mich. She was a teacher for the Clark County School District, teaching 1st and 3rd grade at Ruby Thomas Elementary. Lisa lived for helping others and it was apparent in her daily life. Her favorite pastimes were reading, camping, and visiting with family. Lisa's family wants her to be remembered as a wonderful person that put her family first. She returned to school to finish her teaching degree and pursue her dream later in life after her children were grown. No services are planned for the Las Vegas area. A life celebration will be planned in Michigan at a later date. In lieu of flowers, school supplies and monetary donations can be made to Ruby Thomas Elementary, Las Vegas.
