John Houghton

Age 53, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2005.

He is remembered by all as a kind and gentle soul with a sharp wit, who enjoyed photography and loved spending time with his family.

He is dearly missed by his daughter, Sarah Houghton of Wilmington; his parents, John and Marie Houghton of Wilmington; his siblings, Kathleen Houghton of Wilmington, Nancy Lynch and her husband, Thom, Michael Houghton and his wife, Leigh, and Ann Dempsey and her husband, Cliff, all of Hockessin; and 8 nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth R.C. Church, Oak and Clayton Sts., Wilmington, on Friday morning, July 1st, at 10 am. Friends may call at the church from 9-10 am Friday morning. Interment will be in the All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Ministry of Caring, 506 N. Church St., Wilmington, DE 19801.¹

MRS. ROLLA HOUGHTON MEMORIAL
A memorial gathering for Mrs. Routh Houghton, 73, of 4672 Eastern Av. N., will be held at 8 o’clock this evening at the Friends Center, 4001 Ninth Av. N. E.
Music will be provided by a string quartet of members of the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, of which Mrs. Houghton had been a patron for many years. She died unexpectedly August 12. At her request, no funeral services were held. Born in Seattle, Mrs. Houghton moved to Goldfield, Nev., as a girl and was graduated from the University of Nevada. She returned to Seattle in 1919. Her husband, Rolla, survives.
