Adelia Mae (Cenate) Houghton Fagans, 57, of Lexington Park, Md., died Sept 10 in Maryland. Mrs. Fagans was bom Feb. 7, 1938, in Rockingham, the daughter of Wilfred E. and Eva Mae (Dutton) Cenate. She worked for J.E. Manns in Brattleboro for 22 years and for Durkins Pharmacy in Great Mills, Md., for three years. Mrs. Fagans was a member of the VFVV Auxiliary in Brattleboro and the Ladies Aid Society of Westminster. She was a Cub Scout Leader in Westminster and a 4-H leader in Windham County. She is the widow of Richard Houghton and mother and stepfather, Eva Mae and Harland P. Rounds of Bellows Falls; two sons, Herbert Earl Fagans Jr. of Lexington Park, and David Allen Fagans of Wakeman, Ohio; three daughters, Ruth Adelia Houghton of Westminster, Jennifer Lee Fagans of Lexington Park, and Christine Ann Little of Salem, Ohio; three brothers Wilfred E. Cenate and Maynard Cenate of Springfield, and Edward V. Cenate of Grantham, NC; one sister Jean E. Breen of Tall Timbers, Md; nine grandchildren; 14 nephews and nieces; seven great-nephews and nieces and two great-great-nephews and nieces. HOUGHTON Thomas F., 82, of Franklin Lakes, NJ on April 3, 2008. Mr. Houghton served in the US Navy during WW II stationed on the USS Cecil J. Doyle which assisted in the rescue of sailors from the sinking aircraft carrier USS Indianapolis. Also served in the Korean War as an Electronic Technician. Mr. Houghton was a member of the Destroyer Escort Sailors Association, VFW Post 5702 in Franklin Lakes, NJ. Graduate of Catholic University in Washington, DC. He worked as an Electrical Engineer for Aircraft Radio Corp in Boonton, NJ. Cub Scout Master and active in Troop 49 BSA. He is survived by his loving wife Angela Houghton (nee Katalinich). Devoted children Michael F. Houghton and his wife Maria, Claire Delaney and her husband Joseph, Timothy T. Houghton and his wife Lynn, Katherine G. Houghton and Herbert D. Houghton. Cherished grandchildren Ilana Delaney Lemke, Nicholas Delaney, Yolanda Meola and Timothy Houghton, II. The Funeral will leave the Oakland Memorial Home, 330 Ramapo Valley Road (RT 202) Oakland, NJ. 9 AM on Tuesday April 8, 2008 for a 9:30 Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Perpetual Help RC Church,17 Franklin Ave, Oakland, NJ. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday April 7, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Burial at Maryrest Cemetery Mahwah, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Joseph's Indian School Special Gift Department, PO Box 100, Chamberlain, SD 57325-0100.
