Elijah Williams appeared on the census of 1840 in Eaton, Madison County, New York, which lists one male, 50-59 (Elijah would have been about 44), two males, 15-19, one male, 10-14; one female, 50-59, one female, 30-39, one female 10-14, and one female, 5-9. QUERY: Is this "our" Elijah Williams?6 He has also been reported to have died in 1846.3
