Service for Ella May Derting, 88, will he today at 10 a.m. at Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Walla Walla.
Mrs. Derting, who was bom in Spokane, died Thursday.
She had lived in Walla Walla before moving to Qe Elum. Wash., in 1952. She moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1970.
Mrs. Derting was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, where she played the piano and organ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest, in 1981
Survivors include two sons, Raymond Derting of Post Falls and Jack Derting of Hayden, Idaho; four daughters. Faye Hoffman of Coeur d’Alene. Audrey Johnson of Pasco, Marjorie Formick of Oregon and Diane Ferguson of Packwood, Wash.: 18 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren.

HOLDEN - G. Elizabeth (Sundquist) Wigington, 88, of Shrewsbury Crossing, formerly of Holden, died Sunday, June 29, 2008. She was the widow of Charles A. Houghton Jr. and Wade H. Wigington. She leaves two sons, Charles A. Houghton III and his wife Linda of Holden, and Steven R. Houghton and his wife Susan of Charlotte, N.C; four grandchildren, Jennifer and Heather Houghton of Holden, Tyra Thrower of Charlotte, N.C., and Michael Houghton of Colorado. She also leaves two stepdaughters, Gail Wigington of Barre and Cynthia Wigington of Fairlee, Vt; and three stepgrandchildren, Josias, Grace and German Aquila. She was born in Sweden, daughter of Svea E. (Moberg) and Olaf G. Sundquist. She attended Worcester schools and New England School of Accounting. She was an executive secretary at Morgan Construction Company, a charter member of Trinity Lutheran Church, member of the former Auxiliary of Fairlawn Hospital and Worcester Foundation Auxiliary.
A memorial service was held in the Chapel of Trinity Lutheran Church on July 3. Burial of ashes was in All Faiths Cemetery.
