Mr. Houghton died al 9:3 p.m. Friday at Hendrick Memorial Hospital. Bom Nov. 4, 1884, In Marlin he attended school there ant married Blanche Bond then April 12, 1911. They moved t Abilene in 1926 from Lon Beach, Calif. He was a member of First Baptist Church ant Abilene Masonic Lodge No. 559. Survivors include his wife o the home, 2720 S. 12th; one son George Jr. of 2302 Woodaid; ont daughter, Mrs. Mary Mason o the home; two granddaughters Linda and Georgette Mason o the home; one grandson. Mike Houghton, of 2302 Woodard; two nieces and two nephews.
