| Marriage | John Roby and Ellen Edwardson were married ? AUG 1855 in Prescot Ref 8b 559 : This reference is probably incorrect as it leads to the marriage of an Ellen Edwardson in 1855, but not to John Roby. I am not sure where this old reference comes from. I have not been able to find any evidence of a marriage between this John Roby and Ellen Edwardson. The evidence is that the birth documentation and baptisms of their children say that the child's parents are John & Ellen Roby and that the mother's maiden name is Edwardson. |
