NoteRobert Bostock (#5037), son of Robert Bostock (#7194), son of David, married Alice daughter and heir of Robert Snelson (#5040), esquire, and heir of her mother, Margaret (#5039) who was heir to Thomas Shocklach (#5038). Through this valuable marriage Robert may have acquired a lot of land. He occurs in 1434 when aged about 40, in a lease of lands in Overmarsh for himself and Brian de Barnston. Robert had two sons: Robert of Churton (#5076) and John Bostock of Barton (5077).
