    Mrs. Mary T Sullivan RN, 72,formerly of 1012 Brinckerhoff Ave., died Dec. 19, 1958 in a local hospital after a long illness.

    She was born in County Mayo, Ireland. Feb. 4, 1886 a daughter of Thomas and Honore Rice Lahan. She came to this country and Auburn in 1900 and was graduated from the nursing school of Auburn City Hospital.

    On Oct. 27, 1910, she was married to James A. Sullivan of Weedsport, He died in 1949. Mrs. Sullivan had been a resident of Utica for the past 40 years and had been employed here as a nurse. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church and the Auxiliary of the Railway Postal Clerks.

    She leaves a daughter, Sister Charles Garnier, Order of St. Joseph of Carondelet at St. Mary's Convent, Little Falls; a son, Thomas Francis, Yonkers; three sisters, Miss Anna Lahan, Mrs. Margaret Howard and Mrs. Lawrence Mathews, all of Syracuse, and several brothers and sisters in Ireland.

    The funeral will be at 9:45 Monday from the Ortner Funeral Home, 130 Eagle St., and at 10 from St. Francis de Sales Church where a solemn requiem High Masswill be offered. Burial, will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Weedsport.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. John Crosby, Auburn; Mrs. Lester Whltford, Solvay, Mrs. Freeman Hollenbeck, Amelias,MrsClarence Hollenoeck of Cayuga; three sons, Irving Rancier, Dundee, N. Y., Seymour Rancier and Stanley Rancier of Cayuga; 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family Monday afternoon at Langbam's Funeral Home, East Genesee and Lewis Street Rev. Mr. Bohall of Port Byron will be the officiating clergyman. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Port Byron. Friends have been invited to call at the funeral home Saturday evening from 7 to 9 and Sunday from 3 to 6 and 7 to 9 o'clock.

He was a member of the Steel Workers Union and a past Master of Auburn Masonic Lodge. Mr. Derby served in the United States Navy. Surviving are two sons, Leland L. Derby of Moravia and George R. Derby of Auburn; a son-in-law, Raymond T. Walters of Cayuga; two daughters, Martha Pasqualetti of South Schodack, NY and Dorothy Sullivan of Penfield, NY; a brother, Herman Derby of Auburn. Friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 10 a.m. Monday in the Mosher & Neagle Funeral Home, 93 East Genesee St. Rev. Stephen Polanski will be officiating.
