He married Frances Grant on 2 October 1653 in Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts.1 Solomon Keyes was also been reported to have been married on 2 October 1653 at Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America.2

Solomon Keyes died on 28 March 1702 in Chelmsford, Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, British Colonial America.2 He was buried in Forefathers Burying Ground, Chelmsford, Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, British Colonial America.2
Solomon Keyes was christened circa 6 February 1623 in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, London, England. He lived in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.1 He lived between 1665 and 1702 in Chelmsford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1,3
Solomon Keyes was a prominent man in Chelmsford as Town Clerk,Selectman and on a committee to give the Selectmen instructions according to law. He held the rank of Sergeant at the time of his death in Chelmsford March 28,1702. The first record of Solomon was in 1653 when he married Frances Grant. There is question on whether he is the son or brother of Robert Keyes, but no definitive relation has been established. Joseph Keyes also lived close to Solomon, but appears not to have married or had descendants.
He settled in Chelmsford in 1665, was the Town Clerk, Tything man, and was a man of influence.

He and his wife Frances, appear to be the first permanent settlers of the town of Westford, Middlesex, MA, and his family was the oldest in town. History of the town of Westford in the county of Middlesex, Massachusetts : 1659-1883, pg 5.2

Sarah McDuffee and Mansfield McDuffee II appeared on the census of 1810 in Chester, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, which lists one male over 45 (Mansfield, who would have been about 85) and one female over 45 (presumably his wife Sarah Coburn McDuffee).2 When Sarah McDuffee was nearly 100 years old, she would walk from her son's home near Hooksett, Massachusetts, to her daugher-in-law's home, a distance of 11 miles, in one day. On one ocsasion, someone invited her to ride. She replied that she could not stop and kept on her course.1,3

According to the 1850 census, Daniel and Sarah McDuffee's son David lived with them, and the other three of their four sons, Hazen, Samuel and Archibald, lived very close by.2 She appeared on the census of 1850 in the household of John A. McDuffee, Jr., and Joanna [or Johanna] McDuffee in Rochester, Strafford County, New Hampshire, which lists John A. McDuffee, Jr., 46, his wife Joanna, 43, and their children Joseph H., 20, Franklin, 18, John R., 16, Ann M., 14, Mary A., 11, Sarah F., 8, and George, 5. All were born in New Hampshire.4
