    Thomas Tracy was the second son of Lt. Thomas and Mary Conway Mason-Tracy who was born at Wethersfield, Conn and married around 1675. He and his brother Jonathan settled upon the wild, reclaimed lands on the east side of the Shetucket, then belonging to Norwich, but afterwards included in Preston. He was declared freeman in 1683. In 1684 he served as a constable. He died in1724. His will was dated 1721 and proved 1724. Children: Nathaniel b. 1675 married Sarah Miner; Sarah b. 1677 married Joseph Miner (brother of Nathaniel's wife); Jeremiah b. 1682 married Mary Witter; Daniel b. 1685 died 1704; Thomas b. 1687 married Abigail; Jedidiah (who was Deacon) b. 1692 married first Margaret Rix and second Mercy Stafford Parke; Deborah and Jerusha Tracy were born twins 24 Sept 1696.
