Isaac Mixer III emigrated with Isaac Mixer II, the Emigrant, and Sarah Thurston in April 1634 in England to Massachusetts Bay Colony On 30 April 1634 the family enrolled as passengers on the Elizabeth of Ipswich, departing for New England. He was registered as Isaacke Mixer, age 31, accompanied by "Sarah his wife," age 30, and Isaack Mixer, age 4. The family settled at Watertown, Massachusetts, where Isaac was made freeman on 2 May 1638.[3].1,14,15,16,17 Isaac Mixer III lived in 1634 in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America. Isaac was a selectman many times, from 1673 to 1701, and town clerk in 1692.1

Isaac Mixer II, the Emigrant, and Sarah Thurston emigrated in April 1634 from England to Massachusetts Bay Colony On 30 April 1634 the family enrolled as passengers on the Elizabeth of Ipswich, departing for New England. He was registered as Isaacke Mixer, age 31, accompanied by "Sarah his wife," age 30, and Isaack Mixer, age 4. The family settled at Watertown, Massachusetts, where Isaac was made freeman on 2 May 1638.[3].1,5,6,7,8 He and Sarah Mixer lived between 1634 and 1655 in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America. Isaac was a selectman in Watertown in 1651 and 1655 and owned one quarter of the vessel Diligent.1,6,3

He was granted thirty acres in the Great Dividend at Watertown, being lot #4 in the first division, 25 July 1636. Granted for acres in the Beaverbrook Plowlands, being lot #69, 28 February 1636/7. Granted four acres in the Remote Meadows, being lot #28, 26jun1637. Granted six acres at the Town Plot, 9 April 1638. Granted a farm of eighty-two acres, 10 May 1642.
In the Watertown Inventory of Grants, "Isaac Mixer" held six parcels.

Isaac Mixer II, the Emigrant, became a Freeman in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America, on 2 May 1638 admitted freeman.9,8 He was appointed 1 April 1651 as sealer of weights and measures.

Isaac Mixer II, the Emigrant, left a will dated 8 May 1655. In his will, dated 8 May 1655 and proved 19 June 1655, "Isaack Mixer of Watertowne" bequeathed to "my son Isaack Mixer the north end of my Great Dividend to be cut off from the south part by Beaver Brook, also the seventy acres of Dividend purchased of Simon Ston [only reserving liberty for my wife [Sarah] for her own use to take firewood or timber from the said seventy acres], also ... four acres of Remote Meadow ... being the eight & twenty lot, also seven acres of Remote Meadow being part of the fourteen purchased of Simon Ston being the third lot ..., also six acres of plowland upon the plain in Watertown which six acres I purchased of Henry Freeman, also ... that part of the meadow which I purchased of Mr. William Payne lying wesward of Stony Brook in Watertowne reserving liberty to my wife to cut two loads of grass during the time she liveth a widow"; to "my daughter Sary [Sarah] the wife of Joh Stearnes half my part in that vessel called the Diligent whereof Joh Sheapard is [under God] master, also twelve pounds"; to "my son Isaack Mixter [sic] my two young oxen"; residue to "my loving wife" and at her death "to be divided into seven parts & my son Isaack to have four parts and my daughter Sary to have three"; "my wife and son Isaack" to be executors.3 The inventory of his estate was taken on 15 June 1655 in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America. The inventory of the estate of "Isaacke Mixer of Watertowne late deceased" taken 15 June 1655 was untotalled. The real estate totalled £156 10s.3 Isaac's will was proved on on 19 June 1655. He owned 1/4 of the vessel Diligent, then at sea, whereof John Shepherd was master. His share of it was appraised at £25. His inventory, dated 19 June 1655, embraced, besides his homestall, 12 parcels of land, amounting to 180 acres. His homestall of 6 acres, in 1642, where he probably first settled, was bounded east by William Jennison, west by highway, north by Miles Null, south by John Whitney & John Spring.5,3

John Stearns, son of Isaac Stearns (1), was one of the first settlers of Billerica. Massachusetts. He married first, 1653, Sarah Mixer, only daughter of Isaac and Sarah Mixer, of Watertown, to whom her father bequeathed among other things "one-half of my vessel. Diligent." She died June 14, 1656, leaving one child, and he married (second), December 20, 1656, Mary Lothrop, of Barnstable, Massachusetts. John Stearns died March 5, 1668, and his widow married second, May 6, 1669, Captain William French, of Billerica. Captain French died November 20, 1681, and she married third, June 29, 1684, Isaac Mixer Jr., of Watertown, a brother of her husband's first wife [Sarah Mixer Stearns]. She was living, very aged, as late as 1735.

Isaac Mixer IV married Elizabeth Pierce, daughter of Daniel Pierce, on 17 October 1684 in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. [Watertown marriages: Isaac Mixer and Elizabeth Peirce Joyned in Marriage the 17 of October 1684] They apparently did not have any children.2

Isaac Mixer IV died on 24 December 1723 in Waltham, Essex County, Massachusetts, at age ~62.5,3 He was buried in Grove Hill Cemetery, Waltham, Essex County, Massachusetts, and the inscription on his gravestone reads: Here Lyes the Body of Mr ISAAC MIXER who Decd Decembr 24th 1723 in ye 65th Year of His Age.5
His estate was probated in January 1726.5 He apparently had no children.5
