The known Miller documentation starts with a page of "History" in a ledger
titled "Controvesy Between Elder Abraham Miller Jr. and G.M. Thompson":

"As published in the Messinger of Peace Macon City, Macon County State of
Missouri I.E. Goodwin Editor. Written by Abraham Miller Jr. May 1st 1883. Who
was born December 13th 1811 in Crab orchard Doe river Carter County East
Tennessee - son of George Miller & Lydia (Stover) his wife - Grand parents John
Miller and Mary (Keener) his wife. And Christian Stover & Sarah (Lymebok) his
wife. Great grand father's name Daniel Miller & his wife's name Beeler. Great
grandparents on both sides were High dutch & all from Germany to the United
States, in the 17th century"

Philo and Rachel had been married for 13 years, since about 1887.1
