TROTT SERVICES
Funeral services for Ellsworth C. Trott, 53, an attorney and burgess of Carrick at the time of the borough became the Twenty-ninth ward of Pittsburgm who died Tuesday [12 September 1933] in his home at 404 Parallel avenue, Carrick, will be held in his home this afternoon [15 September 1933] at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in the Southside Cemetery. He was prominent in fraternal and independent political circles. Mr. Trott was a native of Southside. He attended the Morse Public school, and studied at night to obtain a law degree from Duquesne University in 1915. He was admitted to the bar in 1918. He was burgess of Carrick borough twice, and once ran for Congress. He leave his widow, Mrs. Amanda Spratt Trott; a brother Frederick L. Trott, and a sister, Mrs. Howard Harper, both of California.
