JOSEPH FRANK

Joseph Frank, 95, a Savanna resident for 65 years, died this morning in Jane Lamb hospital where he had a patient seven days.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Law-Jones funeral home, with Rev. Robert Stevenson, Presbyterian minister, officiating. Burial will be in Savanna Township cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday.
He was born Jan. 1, 1872 in Wurtemberg, Germany, the son of Antone and Maria Zeller Frank. An employee of the Burlington Railroad for 35 years, he retired in 1938. He was a charter member of the Savanna Moose lodge.
Surviving are one son, Joseph of Clinton; a daughter, Mrs. Harry (Florence) Hall, Pasco, Wash.; a stepson, Daniel Ranslow of Clinton; a sister, Mrs. Pauline Johnston, Mt. Carrol; and three grandchildren; and a brother, Albert of Argo Fay. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers and two sisters.

TOMMY JOE FRANK

Tommy Joe Frank, 24, of 72 20th Ave. N., was pronounced dead on arrival at Mercy Hospital Saturday of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The funeral will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, in Clinton Chapel, Snell-Zorning Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Spiekermeire officiating. Burial will be in Clinton Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the service hour Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Dennis and Dan Woods, Sam Walker, Rick Thompson, Don Mahoney and Gary Anderson.
Mr. Frank was born Jan. 16, 1961, in Clinton to Joseph E. and Barbara Schaley Frank.
