1,2 Died at 4:30 a.m. "after a few weeks ilness." Photocopy of obituary was a little difficult to read--8914 looks right, but it might be 8014. 1900 Census shows that James rents his farm. Apparently at time of 1900 census, one child had moved away. Charlotte Falkowski: James' gravestone inscription reads, 'Gone to a brighter home where grief cannot come.'.
