OGDEN -Reva Nell Cassity Edwards Houghton, 85, beloved mother and grandmother passed away unexpectedly at her home on February 1, 2009.

She was born December 31, 1924 in Toole, Utah, a daughter of Edward P. Cassity and Arvilla Walker.

She married Gerald Edwards in 1941 in Malad, Idaho. He preceded her in death. She married Donald M. Houghton on Nov. 22, 1947 in Elko, Nevada. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on Nov. 20, 1953. He preceded her in death in May of 1980.

She was a member of the LDS Church, formerly of the Ogden 35th Ward. She served for many years as a Volunteer at McKay-Dee Hospital.

She is survived by her children, Theron D. (Peggy) Houghton, Spanish Fork, UT; Carolyn (Richard) Jensen, Florida; LuAnn (Paul) Hobbs, Salt Lake City. nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Roy L. Cassity and one sister Joyce Weight.

She was preceded in death by four brothers.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Larkin & Sons Mortuary, 496 24th St., Ogden, where friends may call Saturday, from 10 to 10:45 a.m.

Her husband Harry Quartier died in 1943; her husband Marty Martin died in 1955, and her husband Gordon Houghton died in 1972.

On Tuesday, March 6, 2007 MILDRED A. HOUGHTON, 85, of Fairfield, PA (formerly of Glen Burnie, MD) died at The Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, MD. Born December 16, 1921 in Shamokin, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Hazel (McClain) Miller, and wife of William L. Houghton who died in 1990. Mrs. Houghton served with The Social Security Administration in Baltimore for 30 years. She was a Volunteer Coordinator with The Gettysburg Hospital for many years and attended Grace Bible Church in Fairfield, PA. She is survived by daughter, Carol J. Morton, El Paso, Texas, six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, two sister's, Dorothy Wolf of Winchester, VA, and Ruby Miller of Baltimore, MD. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 9, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. at Grace Bible Church, 2430 Tract Road, Fairfield, PA with the Rev. Carleton Burrows, officiating. Graveside Services and Interment will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Northumberland Memorial Park, Northumberland, PA. There will not be a Viewing. Memorials may be made to Grace Bible Church, 2430 Tract Road, Fairfield, PA 17320.¹
