Richard Herbert Haughton, 6109 Brookside, died Wednesday at St. Luke’s hospital. He was born in Harris. Tex., and had lived in Kansas City 31 years. He was a distributing agent for the Phillips Petroleum company 41 years. He was a member of Central United Methodist church and its board of directors. He was a member of Cosmopolitan International club and a member of the board of the Santa Claus club. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lorene B. Haughton of the home; a daughter. Mrs. Louise Strafer, 1910 West Seventieth terrace. Mission Hills; a brother, Charles M. Haughton. Justin, Texas ; a sister, Mrs. Lucille Harmon. Seminole. Fla; two granddaughters and a great- grandson.
