William Houghton was the son of Samuel Houghton who was chr 9 Nov 1834
in Bolnhurst, Bedfordshire, England. He married Martha Darlow 17 Nov
1866 in Gamlingay, Cambridgeshire, England. He died 13 Oct 1912 in
Gamlingay.

Samuel Houghton was the son of Samuel Fowkes and Martha Houghton
Samuel and Martha had an interesting relationship apparently. They were
married 28 Aug 1843 in Bolnhurst, Bedfordshire, England. Samuel Fowkes
was married and married Martha shortly after his first wife died.
Samuel Fowkes and Martha Houghton also had three other children.

Sara Houghton chr. 14 May 1826 in Bolnhurst
William Houghton chr. 25 May 1828 in Bolnhurst.

Martha Houghton was the daughter of Jonathan Houghton. We have not yet

Mrs. Alice Houghton
Mrs. Alice G. Houghton, 92, widow of John Houghton, died at her home, 1099 West Fourth Street Rd., Sunday morning following an extended illness. She was born May 12, 1869 at Alice, W. Va., coming to Mansfield in 1922.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Ebersole, and Mrs. Blyss Whitney, with whom she made her home; two sons, French Goff of Carl, W. Va., and Argyle W. Houghton, of Middletown; four grandchildren, and two great- great-grandchildren.
