Biography	He fought with Henry V, at one time under Sir Richard Hastings and again under the Duke of Exeter in France; he took out Letters of Protection on 17 July 1415. He was knighted in France 2 H V when in retinue of Thomas Beaufort, the said Duke of Exeter. It seems too that he was at the Battle of Agincourt in 1415. I think that this must be the same Ralph who was called as a witness to the famous dispute about arms between the Grosvenors and the Leghs. Strange guy this Ralph, as it looks like he was also in trouble with Sir William Atherton after trespassing on the other's lands. Burke's Landed Gentry has his death at 1418-19. [:CR:].
