     Mary Belle Andrews was born on 25 July 1852 in Louisiana.2 She married Henry Greenway Parham, son of John Greenway Parham and Eliza Huldah Morse, on 26 December 1872 in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana.1 She died on 15 December 1956 at home in Dyersburg, Dyer Co., Tennessee, at age 104 from heart disease and old age.2 She was buried at Fairview Cemetery (Sect. 27) in Dyersburg.2,4
     She and her husband Henry are listed, along with their son Charles, in Beat 4, Sharkey Co., Mississippi, in the 1880 census.5
     At some point after her husband's death, she began living with her daughter Lucia and her husband Pled Baker, and is listed with them in the census in Dyer Co., Tennessee, in 19006, and in Louisville, Jefferson Co., Kentucky, from 1910 to 1930.7,8,9 The family moved back to Dyersburg, Dyer Co., Tennessee, about 19382, and she is listed there with Lucia in the 1940 and 1950 censuses.10,11

     Mary's entries in the 1900 and 1910 censuses say she had three other children, in addition to Charles and Lucia, who died before 1900.6,7

     Charles Henry Parham was born on 9 February 1878 in Anguilla, Sharkey Co., Mississippi.2,1 He married Nellie M. Othick, daughter of Benjamin Othick and Mary Blackwell, on 1 June 1905 at the bride's parents' home in Fort Scott, Bourbon Co., Kansas. The wedding was a surprise for the guests, who thought they were attending a dinner party.3,4 He died on 22 February 1965 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Fayette Co., Kentucky, at age 87 from lung cancer.1 He was buried at Fairview Cemetery (Sect. 27) in Dyersburg, Dyer Co., Tennessee.1,5
     He moved to Kansas as a young man, where he was an agent for the American Express Co., first in Fort Scott, Bourbon Co., then, by the time of his marriage in 1905, in Coffeyville, Montgomery Co.4
     After their marriage, he and his wife Nellie lived in Coffeyville for a time4, then moved to Kentucky, where they were enumerated twice in the 1910 census, once on 15 April in Short Creek, Fulton Co., boarding with Carl Schmidt and his wife Lillian6, and once on 18-19 April in Louisville, Jefferson Co., living with Charles's sister Lucia and her family.7 They are listed on their own in Louisville in the censuses from 1920 to 1950.8,9,10,11
     From at least 1918 to 1920 he was a clerk, bookkeeper, and auditor for the Mengel Box Co. in Louisville, where his brother-in-law Pled Baker also worked.7,8,12,13 He was working as a car salesman in 19309, and as a salesman for a candy company in 1940 and 1950.10,11

     The information presented here for this Samuel Taylor is from the History of the Town of Middlefield, Massachusetts, by Smith and Smith, and is tentative at best. The authors say that "it appears probable" that the Samuel Taylor who married Sarah Bagg was the son of John Taylor and Elizabeth Spencer, and that the Samuel Taylor (1718-1798) who married first Hannah Stebbins and second Martha Lamb was "probably" their son.1
