     Charles Mayhew appeared on the 1891 Canadian Census of Leslie-Clapham and Huddersfield Twp., RCM of Pontiac, Québec in the household of his parents, Charles Mayhew and Lea Mayhew, listed as 9 months old, although the 9 is not fully legible.2
     The following analysis is from my personal research and reflects my attempts to consolidate information from different sources.
This Charles probably died as a young child since his brother Charles Joseph Mayhew was born about 2 years later.3

     She was born on 22 December 1889 at Québec, Canada.3,2 Alternatively, she was born circa 1886 according to her obituary.5 Mary married Herman Mayhew circa 1909, based upon the birth date of their daughter Gladys.1,6
     She died on 22 October 1962 in the hospital at Shawville, Québec, Canada, at age 72.5

     Harmon Mayhew and Mary Jane appeared on the 1921 Canadian Census of Otter Lake, Otter Lake Twp., Pontiac-Témiscamingue-Abitibi District, Québec, enumerated 1 June 1921. Harmon wasenumerated as a farmer and a Baptist. Their children Gladys were listed as living with them.8
     In the obituary of Herman Mayhew who died 4 May 1952, his wife, Mary Jane Richard was listed as a survivor.1
