     Emil Schmuland was found on a passenger list for the Cunard liner, Lusitania with his mother Rosalie dated 30 December 1911. They were travelling with a large number of other Russian passengers that also arrived in Hull, England from LaHavre.2 Emil Schmuland was found on a passenger list for the Lusitania with his mother Rosalija dated 5 January 1912. They had sailed from Liverpool on Dec. 30, 1911.1
     He appeared on the 1916 Census of Canadian Prairie Provinces RM of Ituna Bon Accord No. 246, Saskatchewan in the household of his parents, August and Rosala Smuland (sic), listed as help on farm with f (for farmer's) son inserted above.3
