Since trying to contact you I was informed you had used David so looked for information on your great grandmother Antonia Vassallo nee Vella (b. about 1862) to find a closer link to my mother (Stella Jessie Denner nee Vella) and make more sense of the DNA results. I see where you do not appear to have ancestry for Antonia.

I believe her parents to be Saverio Vella (b. about 1822) and Marianna Vella nee Chetcuti (b. about 1830 married 6 April 1856). Saverio’s parents were Vittorio Vella (b. about 1791) and Domenica Vella nee Deguara (b. about 1796 married 16 Apr 1820). That is the common link but I need David to confirm Vittorio is, infact, my mother’s paternal g g grandfather. If that is so it makes both you and Stella 4th Cousins. I believe the common link on your Vella side is Pietro Vella (b. about 1650) and Natalizia Vella nee Frendo (b. about 1660 married 25 Apr 1682).¹
