Donald Wayne HOUGHTON Obituary
Age 82 of Woodbury. Navy Veteran. Passed away August 12, 2016 after a courageous, 10 year battle with Multiple Myeloma. Survived by loving wife Joanne, siblings David and Denise, children Steven (Nancy), Thomas (Jean Marie), David (Linda), grandchildren Andrew (Jill), Brian (Kalia), Kevin (Maura), Timothy, Colin, Cameron, Molly, Matthew, Daniel, and Bradley. Don was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many. He was a faith-filled man who loved his country dearly. He proudly served on the USS Raton during the Korean War and later served in the Naval Reserves. He worked as a Ramsey County Deputy Sheriff in the early 60s, but spent most of his working years in the trucking industry. Don loved motorcycling, debating politics and playing with his dog Sophie. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Visitation 4PM Thursday August 18 with a Memorial Service starting at 5:30PM at O'Halloran & Murphy Woodbury Chapel (8700 Valley Creek Rd. 651-702-0301) .

David was a proud employee of 3M for 38 years. He was a Marine Corp veteran. David is preceded in death by his parents, Ronald & Virginia; and brother, Donald.
