citizen died at his home, 30
Hobson place, Saturday afternoon at
5:15 o'clock. He was aged 82 years
and had been a resident of this city for a number
of years Mr. Patch was employed
by the H. C. Bemis Lumber company
and was regarded as the veteran lumberman in this section
Mr. Patch,recalled the days when he rode
horseback along the banks of the Al-
legheny river towing the oil boats
from Oil City to Warren. The sur-
viving relatives are a daughter, M'ss
Vinnie Patch of this city, a son Rex,
L. Patch of New Castle. Fa; a sister,
Mrs. Elisabeth Lovele's of this city
and two grandchildren, Dorothy and
Bex L. Patch, jr., of New Castle,
Funeral services will be held tomorrow
afternoon at 2 O'clock at the home,
Rev. James F. Hlsgrove officiating.
