She was born in Cooper. Ky., and lived in Cameron. Mo., before moving to Excelsior Springs in 1949. Mrs. Crawford was a tool setter at the Lake City Arsenal for 15 years and retired in 1979.
She was a Baptist and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband. Russell Crawford of the home; a son. John Houghton, and two daughters. Darlene Durbin and Billie Thompson, all of Excelsior Springs: a stepdaughter, Barbara Inman. Rogers, Ark; two brothers, Jim Fowler and Marcus Fowler, both of Osborn, Mo; five sisters. Ann Brady, Evelyn Bun- tih and Effie Davis, both of Cameron, Mo., Vernell Roberts, Phoenix. Ariz., and Della Brady, Rock Island, Ill; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren
