Mr. William G. Haughton (Bill) of Roswell, Georgia passed away on August 17th, 2013, after an extended illness. Mr. Haughton is survived by his wife Beverly B. Haughton, two sons William Haughton, Jr. and John Haughton, two grand-children; Seth and Madelyn Haughton of Lexington, Ky., his brother James Haughton of Kingstree, S.C., and William Jr.'s fianceé, Tisha Whitehurst. Mr. Haughton attended Porter Military Academy, Virginia Military Academy and graduated from Duke University. He served in the Navy at the end of WWII. He owned his own business Ansamatic, for many years. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, August 23rd at St. Andrews Church, Roswell, Ga. followed by a reception at the family home at 1120 Martin Ridge Rd, Roswell, Ga. 30076. All family and friends are invited. The family request in lieu of flowers, donations be made to your charity in his memory. Arrangements by Byars Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cumming, GA.

John David Houghton III: Pamela Grasso, my fathers second wife, did in facthave both daughters with my father before they married. They were together for a very long time before they finally tied the knot. Probably for good reason as they divorced only a few years later. So... they were together since the early 90's, had kids in the mid 90's, finally married around 2003ish and then divorced soon after. My father has not since remarried.
