Deceased Name: Obituary: Norman Dean Houghton
Norman Dean Houghton, our much loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and Friend, age 61, returned to his Heavenly Father and loved ones on May 8, 2001 at LDS Hospital.

Norm was born September 8, 1939 in Santaquin, Utah to Delbert Lyman and Twila Johnson Houghton.

Norm married his eternal companion Suzette Larsen in the St. George Temple on September 13, 1969. They were blessed with three wonderful children, and he treasured his family above all else. He had a successful and rewarding career making many friends as an Insurance Executive in the Insurance and Securities Business for the past 35 years. He was a strong and active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He especially loved working with the Young Men of the Church. Norm was blessed with a great gift of making friends with everyone that he met.

Norm is preceded in death by his mother and father and his older brother Del.

He is survived by his wife Suzette, Son Troy (Candace), Daughters Jodi and Suzanne and a special Granddaughter Tayler, Brother Verl (Sharon) as well as many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

His family wishes to express their love and thanks to the Utah Cardiac Transplant Program and the many doctors and nurses at LDS Hospital who became Norm's friends. A very special thanks to a precious angel who eight years ago shared her heart with Norm.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 12, 2001, 11 a.m. at the Brighton LDS 10th Ward Chapel, 2327 E. Bengal Blvd. Friends and relatives may call at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd.(7600 S), Friday from 6-8 p.m. and from 10-1045 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment Mountain View Memorial Estates.¹
