Passed away at home in Rohnert Park on February 2, 2007 at the age of 65. Known for her love of gardening, she took her greatest pride in her garden of children Dean Houghton, Tina Rogers, Susan Campbell, Michael Houghton, Christi Watson, and Nicole Zwinge; and her grandchildren Jessica, Jordon, David, Ryan, Julia, Katrina, Austin, Alisa, Eric and Renee. She is also survived by her brothers Jerry Denham, Michael Denham, and Fred Meyer, her sister Carolyn Helley and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Thelma and Fredrick Joseph Meyer. Born in San Francisco, she was a 1974 graduate of Petaluma Adult School. Judy loved dancing, swimming, bowling, cooking and sewing. She loved, and was loved, by her fitness group, The Wheezer Geezers. Involved in her children's many activities, especially the Sting Rays swim team, she could always be found pool side. Boulder Creek held a special place in her heart, and the many happy times with family and friends. She will be remembered for her 'can do' attitude and zest for life. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday, February 9, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Daniels Chapel of the Roses, 1225 Sonoma Ave., Santa Rosa. Private inurnment. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2007 from Noon to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. DANIELS CHAPEL OF THE ROSES FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES 525-3730
