Randal Houghton, 56, of Sulphur Springs died on Friday morning, Dec. 21, at Sunny Springs Nursing Home.

He was born on Oct. 26, 1951, in Honey Grove the son of Frank and Wanema Wright Houghton.

Mr. Houghton was a electrician. He was a member of the Damascus Baptist Church.

Survivors includes his mother, Wanema Kruzinga of Lindale; one son, Michael Houghton of Sulphur Springs; two daughters, Kristy Augenstein of Ocala, Fla., and Melanie Houghton of Sulphur Springs; one brother, Duane Houghton of Lindale; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.
