Loving father of Susan (Dennis) Sterner, Bob (Karen) Brooks, Geneva (Allan) Melillo and Larry (Wendy) Brooks; cherished grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 5; dear son of the late Fred and Hazel Brooks; loving husband of the late Jean Brooks; dear brother of Marshall (Bonnie) Brooks, Don (Betty) Brooks and the late Stanley (Pat) Brooks. Bob spent 40 years in education serving as an elementary principal in the Cape Girardeau and St. Louis areas, most recently at Bel-Ridge Elementary, from where he retired. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, September 13, 2013 from 4 to 8 pm and funeral service at 10 am on Saturday, September 14, 2013, at Gerber Chapel, 23 W. Lockwood, Webster Groves.
