Jeanne Houghton Nov. 13, 2012-Dec. 20, 1930

Jeanne Marie Houghton, age 81, of Weidman passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Jeanne was born to Clifford and Anna (Charboneau) LaFond on December 20, 1930 at Cheboygan, MI. Jeanne married Emmett Houghton in 1949 in Angola, Indiana. She loved her family and enjoyed their company. Jeanne retired from Central Michigan Community Hospital (McLaren) in 1993 after 17 years of employment. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed by her family and friends.
Jeanne is survived by her loving husband, Emmett of Weidman; children, Emmett Houghton, Jr., Linda Aldrich, William and Debra Houghton, Don and Patsy Houghton, Diane Houghton, Dennis Houghton, George Houghton, John and Lisa Houghton and Carol and Larry Ohnesorg; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Pat Julien, Barbara-Jo (Bobbie), David LaFond, Michael LaFond, Clifford LaFond and Timothy LaFond.
A Funeral Service for Jeanne will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012 at the Maier Family Funeral Home in Weidman at 2 p.m with Emmett Houghton, Jr. officiating. The family will greet visitors at a visitation to be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (3 hours prior to the service) at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery.
