Dayton, NV, USA, MILLER, (Ret.) Col. Gerald “Jerry” O. age 78, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gladys and Odell Miller and 3 sisters. Jerry is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Miller; children, Gerald Jr. (Janice) Miller and Joy Beth (Steve) Romage; grandchildren, Ssgt. Justin (Renee) Miller, Melissa (Mike) Brown, Michelle (Ryan) Holeton, and Christina Miller; great grandchildren, Perry Odell and Layne Weston Miller; brother, Floyd (Doris) Miller, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He spent 28 years with the United States Air Force, served in the Vietnam War and retired from WPAFB in 1983. He was also a Gideon and was devoted to his family and God. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Old Town United Methodist Church, 1639 US Route 68 N, Xenia. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service at the church.
