Fred R. Houghton, 68, a former resident of Rensselaer and Defrestville arcas, and a retired dairy employee, died suddcnly oí a heart attack Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Coates of Fayetteville. Mr. Houghton hid resided with his daughter for the last two and a half years, he had ! been employed for many years by lhe Jordan Dairy oí Defrestville as a milk delivery man. He was born in Rensselaer and was the husband of the late Grace Sharpe Houghton and brother of the late Oscar and William Houghton of Reneslaer—and uncle of Mrs. Grace Houghton Nealand of Troy and Kenneth Houghton of Abhany. Mr. Houghton was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd at Fayetteville. The funeral will bc held tomorrow at 2 p m. from the William J. Rockefeller Funeral Home aí Rensselaer. Rev. Allen Griep, pastor of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd oí Fayetteville will officiate. Interment will be in Blooming Grove Cemetery in Dcfrestville.
