MARYSVILLE — A memorial service for Wendell Hugh Houghton, 63, a retired real estate broker and resident of Wheatland, Yuba County, for the last 25 years, will be held at 6 p.m. today in Wheat land’s Grace Episcopal Church. A native of Wisconsin, Houghton died Sunday in Yuba County Hospital. Funeral services were held yesterday.
He was a member of the Wheatland American Legion Post and the Oak Grove Masonic Lodge in Alameda.
Survivors include his widow, Eileen; daughter, Carol Ann Houghton of Orinda; mother, Gertrude L. Houghton of Yuba City, and a sister, LuVerne and Rathbun of

Patricia Parker: What I know is this: Littleton, Emanual son of Littleton, Isaac Alexander, son of Emanual (he also had four other sons, John, Willis George and Dave - Dave was killed in the Civil War and is buried in Mississippi); and then there is Orley Thomas (my grandfather) who was the son of Isaac Alexander. According to Joan Meriwether, Littleton was the son of Elijah,son of John Booth Hooten who left a will in Bertie,N.C., in 1776.
